Marc Soberman, MD, MBA.

Marc Soberman, MD, MBA, has been named chief physician executive of Monocacy Health Partners, the multispecialty employed physician practice of Frederick Regional Health System in Frederick, MD. Monocacy Health Partners is the employed physician enterprise of the Frederick Regional Health System, comprised of approximately 80 providers. The enterprise includes primary care, immediate care, pediatric hospital-ists, and medical and surgical specialists. In his new role, Soberman will be responsible for creating an overall strategy for the enterprise. Priorities include development of a clinically integrated network and a population health strategy.



Soberman is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at Emory. After a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at George Washington University, he completed a fellowship in general thoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Soberman has completed executive courses in health policy at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government and in 2009 earned an MBA at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
